We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Purity, the beloved sister of Simcha-Chaya. She passed away on Motsi Shabbat (the seventh day of the week) in Israel on December 10th, 2022.

Purity was a devoted and dedicated member of her community. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. BDE (may her soul be bound in life), may Purity continue to be a blessing and rest in peace.

Simcha-Chaya was able to travel to Scotland to be with her sister thanks to the generosity of contributors who made it possible for her to be by Purity’s side as she passed. We are grateful to all who helped make this possible and offered their support during this difficult time.

We offer our heartfelt condolences to Simcha-Chaya, her family, and her friends during this difficult time. May they find comfort and strength during this difficult time.

We are raising funds to help her mother transport Purity’s body to Zimbabwe for burial and mourning by her family. Any support you can offer is greatly appreciated. May Purity’s memory be for a blessing.
